    What Is Paediatric Audiology?

Paediatric Audiology is a specialised branch of hearing healthcare focused on assessing, diagnosing, and managing hearing concerns in infants, toddlers, and children up to adolescence.

At Adro Hearing Aid Centre, our certified audiologists use age-appropriate, child-friendly techniques to detect hearing issues early—ensuring every child receives the right support during their crucial developmental years.

Why Is Paediatric Hearing Assessment Important?

Early identification of hearing issues is essential for speech, language, learning, and social development. Undiagnosed hearing loss can affect a child’s academic performance, behaviour, and emotional wellbeing.

Paediatric hearing assessments at Adro help:

How the Test Is Done at Adro

At Adro, every paediatric assessment is conducted in a calm, child-friendly environment using standardised clinical procedures. Depending on the child’s age, we use a combination of the following tests:

    BERA (Brainstem Evoked Response Audiometry):

    Tympanometry:

    Pure Tone Audiometry

Note: OAE & BERA are available only at select Adro centres. Prior appointment is required
